I´ve finally given two copies of my book for people to read. One copy to my sis and her chicklit reading hubby and one to one of my good friends. I´ve told them to be brutally honest. But just as i can´t bear to be near them when their reading them i´ve jetted out the country. I´m currently in Central America, so maybe one day this trip will be the stuff of one my my future novels. Well at least book 4 as the next 2 are already planned.

Anyway I´ve got some tanning to do.

Well I finally have printed my second draft of my book. Who knew it takes a whole ink cartridge to print a book. I think I'm keeping my printer company in business! This should be a public apology to those people I'm giving my book too as I am keeping down the font size. Not because I'm tight with the cartridges, no I'm doing my bit for the environment (honestly).

A few of my lucky friends and family, well those avid chic lit readers are going to be given copies to read. I gave people the first chapter to read (then went and hid as the read it). I felt so nervous giving it to people. I haven't had any creative writing since A-level english. To be honest I haven't written any since then. So that was terrible. But everyone that has read it seems to like, and wants to read more. So either it is ok or I've been giving to very nice people.

The next step is to get people to read the whole thing. Thank god it is chic lit and not the next war and peace! Or I don't think i would have quite so many people queing up to be the guinea pigs.

Right well I'm off to watch celebrity big brother. I'm addicted. Good job it came on after the book was finished, or else it may still be in my head.
