Kate had managed to get to the ripe old age of 26 before having her first one night stand. They weren't part of her carefully planned evenings, which up until this point is what Kate had in her perfectly ordered life. She had a life plan with her future all mapped out in neat little chunks. This little chunk in her life was ticking the independent travelling box for which she'd earmarked three weeks and chosen Thailand. The one night stand was a blip, one of the many blips on the life plan that seemed to happen whilst travelling, but that's alright isn't it - travelling isn't like real life is it?
Jenna on the other hand didn't really plan to be in Thailand alone, in fact she hadn't really planned Thailand at all, Rich had. Only Rich had dumped her threee days before they were due to leave, and cancelled all their fancy hotels. Jenna now has no job (she'd quit before she came, no home as she was moving in with Rich and no idea what she is going to do in Thailand.
After meeting in Bangkok and bonding over a few too many cocktials the two ladies begin to discover Thailand and themselves.
