You're invited to an American Wedding!
For those of you that have visited the site before, or follow my progress in writing on Novelicious - you'll know that last year I podcasted a novel chapter by chapter as I wrote it. I learnt a lot doing it, how to keep track of characters, how to write athat I can't do American accents. But in the end amazingly I ended up with 18 chapters and an 60,000 word novel. Which was *ahem* totally well planned (aka very lucky).
I had over a thousand listens on my podbean site and a over 500 subscribers on iTunes. Which I was dead chuffed with for a podcast with no money marketing it.
I got people to tell me what they liked and didn't like and it was great to know what people thought.
For each chapter I will also wrote the behind the chapter story of, 'fact or fiction', giving people an insight into what had happened to me directly and what was pure fiction.
I have now taken the podcasts down, and now you can finally download the e-book version of An American Wedding on Amazon! I'm against self publishing as I desperatley want to be traditionally published but I figure that I can't get this book publihsed traditionally as it has already been in the public domain. Fingers crossed it takes the Amazon charts by storm!!
